CERTIFICATION ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST
1. Committed to the fellowship and supportive relationships with the membership, with regular participation in its activities that further the development and implementation of quality education in all levels, including Early Learning Age 0-5, School Pre-k- grade 12, Undergraduate Grades 13-16, and Graduate grades 17-20, Christian Colleges, Universities, and Schools Accreditation International, Inc..
2. Has legal authority to operate and must be able to address each of the following areas:
Colleges, Universities, and Schools:
a. Philosophy and Objectives: Each school shall have a concise, clearly written statement of its philosophy and objectives to guide the educational program and the overall development of its students.
b. Curriculum: Each school shall have a curriculum consistent with its philosophy and objectives. This should be designed to effectively meet the needs of the students enrolled. Curriculum may be sequentially organized, but is not required if an alternative structure is desired. Alternative structures may include independent learning or an individualized curriculum.
c. School Facilities: The facilities shall be suited to the purpose and adequate for the total program of each school. Evidence of conformity to local codes for preschool building and health, safety, and sanitation must be present.
d. Faculty and Administrative Staff: The school’s faculty and staff must meet criteria which is suitable to the program and mission of the school. Faculty and staff members must remain, always, above reproach within the community, always demonstrate ethical conduct and practice Christian principals. Proper investigation of faculty and staff backgrounds must be accomplished. The presence of faculty or staff in violation of these guidelines may subject the school to de-certification and/or accreditation.
e. Transfer of Student Records/Data: Standards shall ensure the maintenance and safekeeping of accurate student records and the ongoing development of a transcript indicating work covered by students. Student records must be forwarded immediately to the requesting school when requested by written notice and properly endorsed by the student’s parent or guardian.
f. Financial Records/Accounting: The financial resources and management of the school shall be such as to sustain an educational program consistent with its philosophy and objectives. Evidence of financial stability in the form of a financial statement shall be available for review.
g. Health and Safety: All school buildings, grades, child care, and Pre-k through 12 shall meet all applicable local and state laws relating to fire protection, safety, sanitation, and health. Evidence of evacuation drills and emergency procedures is required. The preschool buildings shall comply with local and state zoning, structural, and fire codes.
h. State Laws and Regulations: All schools must remain in compliance with all applicable state laws and regulations.
3. NON-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (Vocational)
4. Is under the control of a governing body, duly empowered with its governance, and meeting all state legal requirements.
5. Is administered by a chief administrative officer designated for the school or non-school educational institution.
6. Has been in operation for a minimum of one (1) year. If a new educational organization is willing to be reviewed after one year of operation.
7. Has written statements of purpose and faith that are not in conflict with the Apostles Creed or the Nicene Creed.

- Facilities: The facilities shall be suited to the purpose and adequate for the total program of the institution. Evidence of conformity to local codes for any building, health, safety, and sanitation must be present.
- Instructors and Administrative Staff: The institution’s instructors and staff must meet criteria that is suitable to the program and mission of the program. Instructors and staff members must remain, always, above reproach within the community, always demonstrate ethical conduct and practice Christian principals. Proper investigation of instructors and staff backgrounds must be accomplished. The presence of faculty or staff in violation of these guidelines may subject the school to de-certification and/or accreditation.

- State Laws and Regulations: All non-school educational institutions must remain in compliance with all applicable state laws and regulations.
