This process is for all Accreditation applicants, The procedures may change with out notice,
Thank you for your inquiry into becoming a member of Christian School Accreditation International. We are non-denominational, non-sectarian and non-governmental.
From our website http://christianschoolaccreditationintl.com you can see that we are serious about the furtherance of Christian education worldwide without undue hindrances. Though Jesus and his disciples did not require accreditation to teach Gods Word, the culture in the U.S. and much of the world has come to expect any “course” to be accredited. We exist to meet this expectation providing our independent confirmation of (1) the existence of your Christian program and that (2) you have established your own guidelines to ensure that you provide an exceptional Christian education that glorifies God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As you know, these confirmations are the minimum basic functions of an accreditation association expected in our society today.
Application for accreditation as a member of Christian School Accreditation International requires the following:
• Participate in a Pre-application telephone interview with us. During this call, you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about our accreditation process, membership advantages, required documentation, and timelines. We will ask you to provide detailed information about your institution, including:
The exact types of programs you offer (for example: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degrees;high school diplomas; certificate programs)
A list of all subject areas covered (such as theology, liberal arts, sciences, vocational training, etc.)
The delivery methods for each program (e.g., classroom-based, online courses, hybrid formats, ortutoring)
Current student enrollment numbers for each program
Your institution’s mission statement and educational philosophy
Providing these specific details enables us to thoroughly evaluate your institution’s eligibility for accreditation based on our established criteria. It also allows us to identify any areas that may need improvement, offer actionable recommendations, and ensure your application process is as efficient as possible. Our assessment will focus on the alignment of your program offerings, instructional methods, enrollment data, and educational mission with our accreditation standards.
• Our accreditation applies to your entire institution, not just specific courses or programs. Therefore, please provide a copy of your college catalog listing all courses you offer, along with the delivery method for each (e.g., classroom, online, individual tutoring, or other formats). Your catalog should detail all Christian, Bible, and secular courses, although offering secular courses is not mandatory for admission. If your institution grants any degrees (such as High School Diplomas, Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD’s) or certificates, we will need to review the minimum course credit requirements for each credential type. Please note, however, that your institution does not need to be degree-granting to qualify for accreditation.
• A written statement of your guidelines that ensures you provide an exceptional Christian education that glorifies God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be necessary. This statement might be on your website, in your catalog or brochures, or in a separate document.
• If your program is not new, please include a brief history. Any supplemental information that confirms your program exists (brochures, website address, certificate of incorporation, etc.) would be helpful. After we have completed our review of your submitted documents and verified that your institution meets all the specified accreditation requirements, we will send you such an acknowledgement. You may pay the accreditation fee of $500.00, which covers the first twelve months of membership, by check, credit card, or electronic transfer. Once your payment has been received and processed, we will issue an official written confirmation of your membership in Christian School Accreditation International, Inc., including your membership start date and benefits summary.
As an accredited member school, college, university, or trade school, you are authorized to display the full name “Christian School Accreditation International, Inc.” or the designation “CSAI Accredited” on your official website, marketing materials, catalogs, diplomas, and other institutional literature. You may also provide a direct reference or link to our organization so that your current and prospective students, parents, or regulatory authorities can independently verify your accreditation status. When contacted, we will confirm your institution’s name, type (school, college, university, or trade school), accreditation dates, and that you have met and maintained our quality assurance standards for Christian education. If you wish to proceed with the admissions process, please call us at 321-536-4863. Generally, we are available during normal business hours, 9:00 am-5:00 pm EDT, Monday-Friday. If you choose, you may call at another time and leave a message. We will try to return your call within twenty-four hours.
Also, please inform your current and prospective students who enjoy U. S. citizenship that, as students of a Christian School Accreditation International member institution, they will not be eligible for government- sponsored financial aid. This is because our organization chooses not to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an accrediting agency. We highly recommend that you have students sign a statement confirming they understand this policy.
We look forward to serving you and furthering the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Blessings in Christ, Dr. David Borst, President HTTPS://christianschoolaccreditationintl.com
