To apply for accreditation as a member of Christian School Accreditation International,we need the following:
A pre-application telephone interview with you. This will allow you to ask us questions, and we will inquire as to the nature and scope of your course offerings.
Because our accreditation will be upon your whole institution and not just single courses or programs, please send a copy of your college catalog with all course offerings, including the method of delivery of your courses. Your methods of delivery might be classroom, online, individual tutoring, or other. Your catalog should include all Christian, Bible, and secular courses, though secular course offerings are not required for admission. If you offer degrees, Certificates, High School Diploma, or Associates, Bachelors, Masters, PhD, we require minimum course credits; however, degree-granting is not required.
A written statement of your guidelines that ensures that you provide an exceptional Christian education that glorifies God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This statement might be on your website, in your catalog or brochures, or a separate document.
Also, if your program is not new, then please include a description of your program history. Any supplemental information that confirms that your program exists (brochures, website address, certificate of incorporation, etc.) would be helpful. After our review of your documents, if you have met the above criteria, then we will invite you to pay the membership fee, which is $350 for the first 12 months of membership. Upon receipt of payment, we will provide written confirmation of your membership. As a member school, college, university, or Trade school, you may use the name of Christian School Accreditation International, Inc. or “CSAI Accredited” on your websites and literature, and refer your students or prospective students to us to confirm your accreditation. We will confirm that your Christian program exists and that you have established standards for quality assurance. If you wish to proceed with the admissions process, please call us at 321-536-4863. Generally, we are available during normal business hours 9 am-9 pm EDT, Monday-Saturday. We will return your call within 24 hours if you miss us. Please note that it is important that you inform your students and prospective students who are American citizens that, as students at a Christian Colleges, Universities, and Schools Accreditation International member institution they will not be eligible for government-sponsored financial aid since we are not recognized, and are do not want to be recognized, by the U.S. Department of Education as one of their accrediting private associations. In fact, we strongly recommend that you have students sign a statement of understanding to this effect.
